We’ll get to that episode when winter is starting, and everything is dying - just like that episode makes me feel like everything is dying inside me.)
“Fairie Dragons” has an absolutely adorable little dragon with a high-pitched voice that makes me feel like I’m going to vomit rainbows and bourbon everywhere. (The episode that really gives me the willies is “Cave of the Fairie Dragons,” the series’ penultimate episode. The only annoying unicorn is Uni, Bobby’s pet, and there’s nothing we can do about it. The unicorns themselves are beasts that exist neither to be fawned over nor to deliver a message about friendship. The main unicorn, Silvermane, is a muscular beast who tries to kick wolves to death. But that’s not what this episode is about this is about an evil wizard essentially trying to end unicorns as a species. Every time I read that title, I dread this episode, because when I think of unicorns, I think of pink and pastel blue cutesy designs, cloying morals, and a level of cheerfulness I can neither sustain nor endure.
